She has extensive expertise in structuring and restructuring projects from a tax perspective. Passionate about special deals, transactions, and joint ventures, Verena offers comprehensive support - from due diligence and (pre-closing re)structuring to advising on transaction documents and post-closing (re)structuring. She thrives on complex tax matters also with a maritime focus and is dedicated to delivering the best solution. Transactions and projects are often cross-border, adding another layer of complexity. With her additional certification in international tax law, Verena brings extensive experience in navigating international tax challenges. From an industry perspective, she has worked across various sectors, with particularly strong expertise in maritime, renewable energy, and real estate. Before joining RIM, Verena worked almost 7 years in a British law firm in a (senior) managing role, having based her expertise in the international tax and transaction tax department of a Big4 firm beforehand.
